VIRGIL ALLEN DAWSON Age 65, of Imperial since 1978, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2020, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. He was born in St. Mary's, WV on May 24, 1954, to the late Phyllis Delores Dawson. Beloved husband of Regina (Cline) Dawson, who he married on July 14, 2012. Loving father of Kimberly Karl and husband Richard of Oakdale and the late Jody L. Dawson. Cherished grandfather of Andrew Fielding; and brother of Carolyn and Rose. Virgil had just retired from working at the Critmore Building, Sewickley in Maintenance for over 30 years. Virgil enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, dirt track racing and loved planting flowers and working in the yard. Due to the CDC recommendations, visitation was private at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS followed by burial at Coraopolis Cemetery. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
